Bta eating fry?

My clowns have spawned twice and the eggs are gone the next day. The rbta never grabs at the eggs but it moves over the top of them from its back side. At first i thought it was pretecting the fry but thinking it is eating them. Has this ever happened to anyone. I have to rbta and this is the one they spawn next to.

Here is a video of where my clown pair spawn and are tending a clutch. I had to pull the RBTA off of the eggs to take this video. I think something else may be your problem. I have never lost one egg in probably 20 spawns.

Ok maybe they r not very good at protecting their fry then. I have a wrasse, shrimp and crabs so i guess it them

So, the nem is moving on top of the eggs? If so, it's killing the eggs by not allowing for proper flow/aeration. Clowns/nems don't protect fry. In all likelyhood, they're eating the eggs. If not, the fry are getting filtered, or eaten by just about everything else in the tank.

My onyx spawn in a pot that is literally covered in wandering BTA's. The female never lets an anemone walk over the clutch. If you're sure it's happening on day 2 and not day 7 or 8 then you need to quadruple what you are feeding your clowns. Feed them 5 times a day... especially leading up to the spawn and immediately after the spawn. If that doesn't work, the male might not be fertilizing them and she is eating the sterile eggs. Observe the spawn and make sure you see him swimming over the eggs as she is laying them. It should look like this...
