Hey guys what do you suggest i feed my BTA? and where can i go to get it (the grocery store?).

Also he seems to be deflated, none of the tentacles are bulbacy. My SG is 1.025, Ca and Alk are in acceptable ranges. Nitrates 0, Ammonia 0. Everything looks to be fine. I do about 10% water changes every week to every other week. My lighting is 150w MH 14k bulb. I have a koralia 2 and a modded ac500 for flow. This is all on a 20 gallon high tank.

Here is a picture from yesterday.

Silversides from lfs, fresh shrimp from seafood dept. of supermarket, scallops, and squid from either lfs or supermarket will get you off to a good start as far as foods. BTW, in the pic the anemone looks perfectly healthy. As someone else mentioned, the bulbs aren't an indicator of health and come and go in aquariums, mostly go. Feed the anemone one to three times per week a piece of food approximately the size of a peanut.

Since it's only a 20 gallon tank, I recommend you keep the anemone and clown and not much else. In time, the anemone will dominate the 20 gallon and make a very nice display.

Thanks for the responses, i will head to my LFS today and see if they have any silversides. I am glad to hear that the bulbs are not an indicator of health. All i plan on keeping in the tank is the anemone and the two tomato clowns that i currently have.

I go to the seafood counter at walmart and buy scallops, clam, mahi, calamari, shrimp.. Ive even bought roe and caviar.

the only thing I buy at the LFS is mysis and cyclops.

I soak everything in a few drops of Zoe and Garlic guard. My fish and corals have always been happy on this diet.

Variety is key.

My critters wont eat prime reef or any of those premade ice cubes like REEF II or whatever. Its like they look at me like "you arent fooling me!!"

your anemone looks great there is nothing wrong with him :)

Good Luck
Jess
