Hey there!
I've had a very healthy BTA for a year now that use to expand out to 6" to 10". In the last few weeks he has become more withdrawn and has turned from a natural beige color to a purplish color. Its tentacles have also shortened and withdrawn as well. I removed him from the DT to physically check and there was no sign of problems or decay odor, etc.. Put him back in and he immediately attached to a rock.
All water params have been fine and I'm balancing Alkalinity and Calcium via Ca/CO2 Reactor and Kalk Reactor. PH 8.17, Ca 398 ppm, Alkalinity 214 ppm, Redox Contoller maintains ORP at 250mV.
I have alot of water movement in DT w/ 10K MH bulb, 2 atinics and a few nite lites.
Any comments on how to get this guy back to a healthy state would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.
