BTA hiding

I placed a BTA in my reef tank and within 8 hours, it took off and is hiding behind the live rock. Any suggestions on why he is doing this and will it present itself eventually. I have a 65 gallon reef tank. Fish--1 yellow tang, 1 Blue regal tang, 2 maroon clowns, 2 yellow tail damsels, 1 sand sifter gobie and 1 fire blood shrimp. Corals--green button polyps, yellow leather mushroom, daisey polyps, and hairy mushroom. Temp is 76, Salinity is 1.022-1.023, Calcium 420, 0 nitrites, 0 ammonia, less than 5 nitrates. Anyways.......it looks ok..but hasn't come out yet. It has been 1 day and I thought they needed light to survive. Any suggestions or comments:fish2:

A likely cause would be a difference in the intensity of light in your tank vs. the tank it was in previously. If an anemone is going from dimmer to brighter light, they need to be acclimated. However, that might not be the issue at all. If the anemone didn't find an appropriate place to plant its foot (a cave or hole in the rock) then it's just wandering around looking for a spot to attach. You want to make sure the powerhead intakes are covered so the wanderer doesn't get sucked in.

What type of lighting do you have? What type of lighting was the anemone in prior to you getting it? I would bump the specific gravity (salinity is measured in ppts) up from where you have it to 1.026ish. The temp is ok, but 78 would be better.
