BTA is a PITA

So my BTA which I thought was near death a few weeks ago has come back out and stayed out for the last week and a half. Still doesn't look great. He stays small and has fixed himself to the glass very close to the water line.
Today's problem is that it's WC day and if I do this he will be left exposed to the air for probably 10 minutes or more until I can get water back in.
Short of trying to relocate him myself (which I am not comfortable with) does anyone have any suggestions?

Yup
A) he will be fine for 10-15 minutes, or will move a bit.
B) take water out to half way down his foot, refill, repeat.

I have done a without a problem fir years, but try and limit the time out if you can.

If he gets annoyed (with you taking away his water) he will drop (and think your the PITA)

Anemone's hold plenty of water, they are often exposed completely for maybe a half day on extreme low tides, so not an issue normally

I thought I read somewhere that they should never be exposed to the air for any length of time. Little confusion on my part. Must have been some other coral or invert that I read that about.

Clams yup, but if you burp them, that's ok too...

Most sponge can not meet air at all, could be that.

Anemone's hold so much water most experienced vendors ship w/ barely enough water to keep them wet
