BTA losing tentacles

My bubble tip anemone lost a tentacle near it's mouth 2 days ago. I thought that the tentacle must have gotten damaged somehow so I didn't think anything of it. Yesterday I examined it closely and a new tenticle if growing back where the other one fell off. It appears as though another tentacle may be ready to fall off. Is this common? Any idea what's going on?

By Green BTA appears to be healthy. It responds to light/dark changes and eats ever other day without any problems. I have had it for a little over a month. All of my water parameters seem to be in check.

last night I caught my peppermint tugging really hard at the BTA's tenticles. He didn't pull any off but the BTA seemed to not like it. Think the peppermint is the culprit? What do you think he is donig?

I used to have my coral banded shrimp scavage for food and eat left overs. I decided to start feeding him peices of krill reguarly and he stopped snipping my BTA's tentacles.
