BTA meets Powerhead...Ammonia at .25, Nitrates 0

Total bonehead move. I had taken off the prefilter to clean my powerhead and forgot to replace it before going to sleep last night. Well, my previously very happy BTA decided to move last night (maybe it was the change in flow caused by the power head being off, who knows) and found the uncovered powerhead. I woke up to a very cloudy tank and immediately changed out 25 gallons of water (65g tank).

I just tested the water. NH3 is at .25, but my nitrates are 0. All fish and corals are doing well and do not appear affected. Should I just continue to test or should I change out more water?

I am currently running a carbon reactor and ATS, which has kept nitrates undetectable since I started the tank.

Sorry to hear that. I would continue doing water changes just to be safe until your Ammonia is 0.

Appreciate it. That is probably the right call. I am just over the wholesale water changes with 5 gallon buckets. Though, that is relatively minor compared to the whole tank going down.

run activated carbon if not already...

Absolutely. I increased the amount I normal have running. The ATS gives the water a slight green/yellow tint without it. The cloudiness is almost gone at this point.
