I have had my BTA for 3 weeks and it had not fully attached it's foot to the rock i put it on, last night it detached and stuck to the back glass down low so you can't really see it. CAn i move it back to another rock or will it slide up the glass at least? If i can move it how without hurting it, the foot is fully attached now....gurrr

Can you post a photo? Have been seeing too many bleached bta's lately to give opinion without seeing it first. If not what color is it? Is it it white or semi-opaque? what kind of lighting do you have?

if it moved, it wasnt happy where you put it. imo your tank is still too immature for any anemone. if you sig line is up to date that is.

I need to change my sig line it has been about 6 months now. I'll have to do a picture tonight. It is not bleached, it is yellow greenish full tips. it is almost all the way open. It is under 250w MH with 65W antics. close to the same of the store I got it from. I haven't tried to feed it, but I feed my fish mysis shrimp and brine. Either way i don't want it on the back glass so I need to get it off. I believe my mistake may have been putting it to high in the tank it was in the center and I should have put it lower. My bulbs are new too so it is very bright. Any tips on removing it without hurting it? Maybe a credit card?

The glass is the easiest place to remove it from, count your blessings.
I would just use your finger nail ever so gently work it under a spot on it's foot. once you get it started kind of roll the edge with your finger. Once you get it started it slide a finger under it and work the rest of the foot free. With a credit card you won't have as much control. Just go slow and good luck.

thanks I'll post a pic tonight and keey it low in the tank to let it calm down. Everything else is doing great

Maybe a credit card?

i used a credit card to remove my anemone, i just loosened up the foot very slowly and it came off but it ended going back on my glass then moved to the rocks in a couple of weeks and BTA prefer to have their foot hidden away from the light so if your anemones foot is revealed it would probably move anyways

I would suggest leaving it alone personally. You can't make it go where you want it. Changing the direction of your waterflow may encourage it to move tho.

+3 wait. You can always move it later after it has regained its strength and recovered from all the moving trauma it has already suffered.
