bta question

Ok so I was jw why in some peoples tanks the BTA are bubbled and in others they are just stringy. What are the things that make a BTA bubble or not bubble up?

The ever lasting question . There really is no way to tell why, some say because of lighting, some say because of hunger, and some say because of water conditions. There really is no way to tell whether or not they will bubble, some start off will bubbles and change when they move to a new system and vice versa, as long as the bta is healthy it shouldn't matter.
