about a year ago i got a bta [ brown ] as a hitchhicker. it grew nicely and had great bubble tips. a year later i now have 6 thru splitting.my issue is none of the 6 have any bubble tips. they are all about 2 - 3". what causes that. i would like to sell a few but how can i without the bubble tips

Bubble tips are generally a sign that the anemone is healthy. However, loads of people have BTAs that don't bubble or that only bubble infrequently. No, you shouldn't have any issues selling them if they don't bubble, although to be a fair and responsible seller you should probably mention that they are not bubbled. They may, in fact, bubble in the buyer's aquarium, but you don't know that.

No one really knows why some bubble and others don't. I have seen many bleached unhealthy anemones that did have bubbles. I have also seen some extremely nice BTAs without bubbles at all. It just depends.

thanks for the input. since their growing and splitting, i assume their healthy and happy i have a clarki that makes them all his home
