my BTA has spawned before, and it was a huge fiasco in my 20 gallon. now it is in a 55 gallon with a sump and a total of around 70 to 75 gallons water volume. it is spawning again, and I am not sure with so much more water volume if I need to freak out or not. I also have a much better skimmer now as well, ASM G-2
Anyone have any experience with a male BTA spawning in this size set-up and was it a major problem? last time this happened in my 20 I did massive water changes and still got a wicked hair algea outbreak so I would like to avoid that this time if possible. I am definately doing a water change tommorow or at least 6 gallons, should I do more? skimmer got turned up more wet. I can also add fresh activated carbon, may do so, I'm not sure yet, there is already some in there.
