BTA split

My BTA split on Monday. The two are staying close to each other, but have moved around the back of the rock, headed towards the pulsating xenia. Should I be concerned about them being close to the xenia? I'm debating moving the xenia, and so far they are near it but not against it. The orginal BTA found a spot and never moved, till this split. Thanks for the info.

Mine has moved during a split to heal. Luckly it moved in a round about fashion to the exact location in which it started. The clone I managed to get into a holding tank till it healed and then off to a friends tank.

Can you keep the two, or is it better to get one out?

Oh yes you can keep the two together. But if you tend to keep too many of them you run out of real estate real quickly. You can see how large one can get espeically in a 55
