I would like to get a GBTA or RBTA for my 29 gallon...... the problem is the area I would like to put the BTA has i big aptasia in it. Would the aptasia harm the BTA? If so what is the best way to get rid of the aptasia?

thanks
Ken

joes juice or kalk paste will kill that aptasia
you should get rid of it before they take over your whole tank

besides that, where ever you 'want' the bta doesent mean a thing. they will walk around till they find a spot THEY like :)

Can I use lime juice and does the juice have to be injected into the aptasi or just around it?? How well does this method work??

kalk paste works every time you just use a syringe and coat it

Or get a peppermint shrimp :)

My pepp is like Rambo...one night in the tank and he had the aiptasia gone. It was amazing.

one problem with getting a peppermint shrimp he might not last long enough to get to the aptasia..... Fuzzy Dwarf Lion will eat it up in a hurry.

my peppermint ate all the aptasia, it grew very large, and started tearing away the mouths of my lps's to eat the food i fed them..

Pepermint shrimp do better in small groups as well, I try to stear away from them and do the calk and juice, as far as the Aiptaisa being where you want your anemone good luck with that your happy spot is not usually their happy spot, but kill the aiptasia anyway
