BTA Vs Powerhead round 2.

Gives Bad Advice.
Ok so basically I'm sure you get the idea of this. I had a BTA a month ago and it ended up wrapped around one of my power heads. Recently I purchased another; however, this time i have my powerheads shut off. I only am able to run that at feeding time now since i'm worried the same thing will happen. What do you guys do to protect your anemones from the powerheads? And i'm suspecting my anemone to move when the powerheads turn on since it's a pair of maxijet 1200s. So it'll create quite abit of added flow for the tank. From 10x to 20x or so. Ideas? Cause i'd really like to not lose this one.

theres this plastic they sell at fabric stores for doing needle point. wrap it around your intakes and keep closed with zip ties

Could you put the sponge strainer on the MaxiJets? You'll have to clean out the sponge every day or 2 to prevent a nitrate factory, but seems like it would prevent an anemone from getting in there.

i to had this happen, i use round sponge filter to cover the intakes. but i also have a friend who uses the needle point plastic and a rubberband.
