BTAs touching???!!!! AHHH Everyone panic!!

My BTAs are touching. I have 4 different kinds and colors. Chemical warfare going on or HOGWASH from over cautious reefers?

Btas are fine touching each other, ive had 5 touching for years and they are still happy. Other anemones though dont get along with others though
 
You should see wild photos of BTAs. They are colonial animals and live in extremely close proximity to their neighbors. Generally it's a mass of clones, but you will see a few random variants in the bunch.

There are anemone dominated tanks with different species touching and everything is okay. Here's a recent thread with some proof. :)

That being said I would err on the side of caution, I don't think this has been fully explored and replicated enough to say it's perfectly okay in every scenario.

maybe it wasnt the touching that was the problem but more of checmical warfare. I know others have had problems with some diff, species getting along in the same tank though
