btkrausen's Shallow Reef Tank

Started a new tank after taking a year and a half break. Tank is 48 x 24 x 12, which makes it around 60 gal I believe. Sump is a 40B with my own baffles siliconed in for sectioning off and keeping a stable water height for skimmer. Circulation is two Hydor Evo 1050s, and lighting the tank are two 150w Hamilton Cayman reflectors with Phoenix 14ks and Hamilton ballasts.

Usually go with zoas and sps, but I'm done mostly SPS, and just got a big frag pack from a local guy with about 8 ORA corals.

Current live stock is a blue throat trigger, kole tang, tail spot blenny, cleaner wrasse, pair of grade A picassos hosting GBTA, and a lonely green chromis.

Enjoy the pics :)

Thanks. The triger is great, doing really well. The first one died, but I don't think he was right to start out with. The new one is much healthier, and is swimming around most of the day now, where the other just hid in the rocks.

I just added a kalk reactor this past weekend, so hopefully that help increase the sps growth.
