Bubble algae is taken over my tank. i have taken some out with my hands but the rest i can get off the rocks with out popping it. what would u reccomend other then the emerald crab??? is there anything else???

Thanks in advance!!!

i have heard that emerald crabs are kinda agreesive. and might eat some corals that i have in there. is this true???

emralds can bother some life...i'd start by pulling as much out by hand as possible. with the remaing I'd gently scrub it with a toothbrush while sucking it out with your siphon tube only (don't attach your bell to the tube). end with a 20-30% H20 change.

emerald crabs can sometimes make it worse due to they pop it and the spores spread, so the best thing is to take the rock out and remove it by hand with some tweezers or something.

i use a siphon to get it off the rocks works pretty good, i nudge the bubbles and siphon it out, my emeralds havent touched it yet

I take the rock out and pull it off the hit the area with a good blast of fresh water works everytime for me. good luck

i put 3 emeralds in my 50 & they are doing a great job getting rid of it,just make sure ur frags are nice & tight cuz they will get knocked over.

I second the siphon thing.
I use a PYthon with 5/8" tubing...I stuck the end into a Turkey Baster tube and used that to kinda scrape and suck out the Bubble Algae. Its been working pretty good.
My emeralds are nibbling here and there but its hit or miss.
