Bubble Algae

I have a little bubble algae in my tank and I want to get rid of it. What's the best way to get rid of it? I've heard that emerald crabs may get rid of it. I have one that doesn't seem to touch it. I also heard that its not good to pop it. Help!

Be careful not to pop em. If its easy to take the rock that they are on out of the tank I would do that, and then leave it out in the sun for about a month... or at least remove the bubbles outside the tank so if you accidentally pop a bubble you can rinse the rock off before putting it back in the tank.

I've had success with using a siphon while removing the bubbles. The siphon seems to trap everything that is trying to escape. I didn't have much, but it seems to not be coming back after a month. (crossed fingers)

I'd stay away from the emerald crabs. I had three and it seemed that bubble algae was their very last choice for food, ie they didn't eat much. Also emerald crabs can get aggressive when they get big and are opportunistic omnivores meaning if they can catch a fish they will eat it.
