Will a sea urchin eat bubble algae growing on live rocks?

My pincushion urchin ate all of the bubble algae in my 20 long and is now doing the job on my 40.

Do "all" pin cushion urchins eat bubble algae?

What about common rock burrowing urchins?

I've introduced three emerald crabs into my 55 gallon tank, and they don't seem to be interested in the bubble algae thats slowly popping up everywhere.

my emerald eats anything green i my tank...bubble, hair, cheato...i love him..LOL

urchins will also eat your coraline i believe

mind you mithrax crabs are also known to pick at ALL types of polyps..(mine doesnt YET)

you want the female emerald crabs. The males get big and aggressive. I have 5 in the 125g It took them some time to start on the BA but once they started it was like candy. I have not seen any in the tank since.

everytime i try to peek between my crabs legs he pinches me LOL...how do you sex them?
