bubble and ocellaris clown

I have had a clown in my tank for about 7 yrs. He has never had an anemone to host in. I am about to purchace a tan bubble tip anemone. I wonder if clowns loose interest in hosting after a extended period of time or if there is a chance that he might host in the new anemone? He is a ocellaris and the potential host is a bubble tip.

I'm kind of in the same situation, with 2 Ocellaris Clowns. I want to get a super green bubble tip anemone.

I imagine it would be like any Ocellaris and bubbles. It would be a crap shoot, since they are not natural hosts to begin with. Mine are fine in my RBTA. Took awhile tho.

I just worry about the time he has spent w/o an anemone and maybe he forgot how to host (kinda silly I Know--7yrs in a tank vs thousands of years of evolution)
