BUBBLE ATTACK! (from the sand)

All of the sudden I looked in my tank today (which is in the progress of being set up - 55 gallon ~2-3" of sand) and there were tons of little bubbles releasing from the sand! You can see them below the sand line in the photo.

The tank has been sitting with just sand for about a month. The bubbles began showing up just a couple of days ago.

I currently have about 30lbs of "Nature's Ocean" ocean sand in there, but after reading about deep sand beds I decided to add some. I put another 10 lbs of very fine lightly colored sand in a few days ago, thats still setting in. I guess the air could have come from that. I also have another 20 lbs of live sand coming from Tampa Bay Saltwater with my rock.

I was just wondering if anyone had any idea about what this could be. This is the first tank that I've set up and I'm just not sure if this is a normal process of the bacteria building up within the sand. Any input is welcome and wanted. Thanks!

its just air from putting the sand in it happened to me when i first put sand in
it could also be gasses being released

Bubbles are gas being produced from both algae and bacteria that is now beginning to colonize in your sand bed (a good thing).
