Bubble Coral in Nanos

I have a large White one its doing great and is one of the highlights in my tank.
I will ad some pics later. I have a 25 Gallon TruVu Nano.

I have a monster white one in my 29 gallon. He is very happy. However, I have 144W PC keepin him happy. under the original 72w. he wasn't to fond of his home.

In a ten Gallon, that is plenty. Go for it. but because of it's stinging tentacles and th esmall size of your tank. It will limit how many corals you can put in it. As well, keep peppermint fish away from the bubble coral

When i get my nano in the next few months, i'll be putting one or two types of bubble corals in there, so this thread is helpful to me also. Thanks for posting.

This is a picture I found in the thread "show me your nano colors", it's Genix's tank. For me these bubble's really make the tank.

these guys are cool. your lighting should be fine. When you get one MAKE SURE that it is completely deflated when you remove it from the display at the store as the flesh will tear and it will die. THe bubbles are actually water filled in accordance to how much energy the animal needs. needs more it will inflate and increase surface area for photosynthesis in the zooxenthella in the tissue. Also give it little to moderate flow and keep it away from other coral, it will kisk their asss. you can feed them but do so sparingly as they expel the waste and will foul up your water.

Again when you get one make sure you have the LFS worker GENTLY jiggle the coral to make sure it is completely deflated and then take it out of the tank. 5-10 min should suffice. Anyother questions let me know.
