Hi all, I purchased a bubble and hammer coral on Saturday for my 90 gallon. The Hammer looks great and my bubble looked great as well when I put it in on Saturday. Then late Sunday afternoon the bubble closed and revealed it's skelton. I thought it died but it opened up again later that night and it's been doing this a few times a day since then. I fed him on Tuesday night when his tentacles were out. But yesterday it closed again a few times during the day. Is this normal for this coral to do this in the begining? My Frogspawn, hammer and Fox Coral are doing great so far. My tank has been set up for 5 months. My params are great. Alk is 8.0 and calcium is a little low at 390. For placement I have the bubble in the middle of the tank on a rock. Should I place it on the bottom with low flow? I have 440 watts of VHO lighting. The coral has been in my tank for only 4 days. Should I be worried about this? Any input will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike
