my bubble coral got knoked over in my tank and it ripped a hole in it is it doomed for a sudden death or will it happen to repair itseelf
thanks in advance for the replys

no actually it ripped where i guess the mouth is. it has colapsed, so i think it is where the water is inhaled and expelled

no i actually think its mouth is ripped, because it is is deplated. i believe it is where water transfer takes place

Could you post a picture? Bubbles are pretty tough, as long as the water is clean and the coral is otherwise healthy it should heal quickly.

Yup mine broke a few when i didn't wait till they closed and took it out of the water :( a few broke, but a few days later they were fine, and healed right up.

Bubbles are great at regenerating damaged tissue. Keep an close eye on it. If it still is receading try placing it in a shaddy spot and spot feed it when it does decide to come out.

I got one the size of a soccer ball in my 135. I knocked it down one day and thought I lost it. It completely deflated to the point of seeing the skeleton! I left it alone for a few days as I hated to lose ot after having it for three years. It slowly re-inflated and is now back to it's original glory. Took about three weeks. Give it time and don't give up on it too soon. Good luck!
