Bubble growth on sps coral (green slimer)

So I recently aquired a green slimer frag, it has been dipped and placed in a frag rack to grow out a bit. Now about one month later I noticed some sort of growth on one of the branches. What I would like to know is what is this? And what causes it? I had a piece of tri-color acro that had similar growth then RTN'd about 2 months later. Any Ideas?

I don't know what it is, but it scares me. If it were mine I'd snip off that branch and toss it in case it's some type of eggs or parasite. I could be way off, but that's the safest bet.

Is it soft tissue or is it calcified? If it's soft it could be a build up of oxygen under the tissue causing it to swell. If it's calcified it could be a tumor like growth anomaly.

with the little spots evenly space, it looks like some kind of egg cluster. I'd cut it off an throw it out. Better safe than sorry. Especially since it is all on one branch.

I had that happen to two frags I had... One with a A. plana and another w/ the ORA Bellina. I have no idea what exactly it is, but both frags ended up losing tissue from where that bubble grew. Eventually I lost both frags...

The coral seems a little bleached to me. Was there a change in placement of the coral, a new bulb or lighting or even a change of activated carbon? It really looks to me like a bubble that could be caused by overproduction of oxygen which can happen when photosynthesis is ramped up which can also occur when suddenly exposed to more intense lighting.

It is calcified, so that rules out an egg case, i will watch it and cut it off possibly.

It is a little bleached, previous owner had em under t5's and I run 250 watt 10k MH, it is low but still alittle bleached. Changed carbon right before this piece went in. Would you please point me in the right direction to find out if it is an overproduction of o2?
