So I had a chip in my 180 gallon, I called Aqueon and they gave me another tank because it was under warranty. I get the tank home and now being paranoid because I did not see the chip earlier, I really go over the tank really good and found this bubble in the corner silicone of the tank... It looks like a perfect circle so I was thinking it was a glass spacer but I don't see them on any other corner. What should I do? I have not put water in it yet.

I actually I think I see circles on the other corners but they are really far down and hard to see below the black rim of the tank. I can barely see the black outline of the spacer. So maybe this spacers was just positioned high? Do they keep the spacers between the glass and does it affect the integrity?

Did you try calling the company and asking them about it? They could probably give you more info than we could.

I just heard back and they said that it was safe and that the tanks are "doubled sealed" anyways. They also said they do leave spacers but I am not sure if this is a spacer or not. They said on tanks this big you will always see some kind of air bubble that gets stretched out because of the weight of the glass.

They said I could return it but I would have drive 1.5hrs back to where I got it and wait for another one to come in. Does this look safe to use?
