I went to feed my bubble today, and realized how much he's grown in the past few months. He's a bit of a handfull, constantly sending out sweepers and stinging his neighbors, and I might need to trade him in soon so I thought I'd take some pictures. I'd love to see yours too :D

Here's my bubble a few months ago...

Looks like that's going to be a gorgeous bubble when it opens up!
I have mine in low-medium flow, under medium light (PCs) and feed him regularly after lights out - IME these guys LOVE to eat. He takes mysis, silversides, brine, even pellets if he can catch them! They can produce some pretty long sweeper tentacles; watch what you put next to your bubble, it may get stung.

very nice growth on that bubble algae. first pic you cant see it at all, but second pic.. WOW..

lol

nice bubble. i have expierenced the same growth with mine. mind opens 6" wide from a 2" skeleton

medium flow

medium flow

What would you describe as the right flow. My bubble sits under a Tunze 6000, it moves when the pump comes on but from the water returning to the pump or being sucked in. The bubbles wave a bit but don't show any damage. Is if possible this is too much??

I found that a nice diet of cyclopeeze and silversides made my bubble dbl in size in no time. It was about the size of a small dinner plate before I had to get out of the hobby for a short while.

scbasser5 - as long as the coral doesn't show signs of stress, it should be fine. I'd avoid really strong flow or direct flow, and overall use the coral's behaviour as a guide.
