I have a BM NAC6 in my 60 cube with a real heavy bio-load..This skimmer works great,quiet and pulls tons of gunk..

These are not garbage skimmers..just made by communists lol

I've had mine running about 3 months now,no complaints here..

I've read that huge thread..well most of it lol and it seems the only people that were complaining were the people modding a brand new pump

kinda dumb if you ask me,take something apart fiddle with the insides and then complain when it breaks lol

I see..mods will and can make skimmers a little better..But no offence I would never buy a modded skimmer,they do just fine out of the box imo

not at all :lol2: That NW200 is a monster though,that thing can skim a swimming pool out of the box :rollface:

Jeff,

While I have owned and like the Bubble Magus line, I would definatly look into the new 2010 Reef Octo skimmers that are starting to hit the LFS's. I know I saw one at ARC (I believe it's the Super XP-5000?) and IMO it would out-perform the model you listed by a long run. JMO, hope this helps!

Edit: I found the link. This thing is a BEAST, and it's powered by a Bubble Blaster pump which IMO is a lot more reliable than the Aquabee's. Check it out!
