bubble magus nac6?

I have a curve 7 which pump does the nac 6 use. Its all about the pump when it comes to these skimmers. I know the curve uses the PSK pump but the Rock pump is much better. It works well but could be better. If I had it to do over again I would have gone with something in the Aquamaxx line of skimmers.

What size tank is this for?

Just did some research on the pump its an atman they are notorious for breaking down many problems including broken impeller shafts. I would look elsewhere.

I'll probably be switching to this in the not to distant future.

My NAC6 has been running for three years without fail and still on the original pump. A bit finicky at times, but always pulling good skim. Only grip is that it is a bit large for my constrained sump space.

Well I got the skimmer today and it does indeed use the rock 2500 pump. I'm very happy with this setup so far. Will update when I see some action.

Well Im already pulling skimate and it's only been about 6hrs. It's doing real good and does not make a sound. Also very little to no micro bubbles. So far it's 150 well spent.

I have used bubble magus since the very beginning without any problem. Good luck. My personal advice...buy quality (it will last you way longer)
