Bubble problem

For the past few days, there have been bubbles everywhere in my tank. They are stuck in the leaves of the macro algae I have, and stuck on the bottom of my live rock. I agitated the water my self so they all dislodged yesterday, and there are more today. They seem to becoming up from the sand bed.

Also I have a light fuzzy coat of green/brown algae covering my macro algae. I have had diatoms and this seems to be different.

Here is a picture but its hard to see the fuzz, but you can see the bubbles.

My alkalinity is 3.5 meq/L
pH 8.3
Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrates are 0.
Thanks for the help!

No. I dont have a skimmer, and my water pump is in the back chamber all the way at the bottom so I dont think it could be catching air...

I have same thing going on in my 25 gal set up Look at previous thread of mine it will send you to site that explains about sand beds. I gathered that it will cycle it's self and stop in time.

My tank is been going not quite a month and it was a previous set up bought for me as a gift. I'm completely new at salt water but hope to be able to master this with the help of everyone here.
My set up was in trouble when purchased and I'm trying to play catch up.

I would add a skimmer if you have the $$$. It's extremely important.

I am using Seachem tests. I plan to add a skimmer, but dont quite have the $$ yet. I do 10% water changes weekly.

It seems to be looking better today, only a few bubbles.

The bubble problem seems to be going away, but I still have the other problem. Here are some better pics. Could it be diatoms?
