Hi Guys & Gals!
I have had a Orange Flame Bubble Tip Anemone for about 4 months. Its been doing great and has stayed in one location since i put it in the tank. My new Maroon Clown is now hosting the BTA. MY question is:

When i first got yhr BTA it actually would show bubbles in its tips. Over time the bubbles have seemed to not show anymore. I feed the anemone once a week and i beleive its getting significant light. Over seems healthy. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Tank Params:
Nitrate-0
Phosphates-0
Alk-9
Calcium-480ppm
SG-1.024

The last anemone I had never bubbled up, never wandered, and grew pretty fast, but it had decent bubble tips in the tank it came from. It's kind of the nature of the beast it seems, I doubt you're doing anything wrong as long as it's opening up when the lights are one and eating when fed.

What kind of light do you have? I have a BTA that doesn't have bubble tips. I have 250W MH lighting. Some just don't bubble up.

My lighting consists of 2 PAR30 BoostLED bulbs and Marineland Reef Capable LED fixture dor supplimental light. I have PAR readings of 200 about 12" deep. The anemone is directly under the light. All of my SPS are doing great so i assume that its not my lighting. The mysteries of these facinating creatures...ugh
