I have a BTA like your top one. Mine looked like yours exactly when it was acclimating. Now it looks like this

And that is an untouched photo. It should show A deeper orange near the ends with purple tips. Stupid Iphone camera. What is behind it is a GBTA This is a quadricolor for sure but if we are gonna call them by "common names" green bta doesn't fit. I actually got it for the price of a rbta. I wanna call it something cool but don't care in the end. just dont call it green. lol

Do different color morphs of BTAs sting each other? It doesn't appear so...

Well in my tank I have 2 gbta, 4rbta, that rainbow, and another bta that has a green base and red tips. And none of them sting eachother. They were all added close to the same time except the first rose which had been there awhile. I run Chemipure directly underneath the overflow output. In fact I fave 5 of them all laying together touching eachother having a party or whatever bta's do.:dance:

They're all from the same type so no, if a bubble tip were to touch a carpet for example it would... But all of the same type are fine together
