I just bought a bubble tip anenome this morning and now it is in my 75 gallon reef. When I picked it up from the LFS he was in a fish tank under insufficient lighting and the anenome was all the way at the top of the aquarium in the corner. When I put him in my tank I put the anenome on a piece of live rock that was closest to the top where it would get the most light. After a few minutes the anenome moved from that position and hid underneath the rock where there is hardly any light. Why would it want to get closer to the light in the fish store but when I put it under more lights it hides? Don't anenomes need stronger lighting? And will it come out underneath the rock when it needs light and then go back into hiding? I also read that you're not supposed to move anenomes at all during the 1st week of acclimation because it will more then likely kill it due to stress. So is this hiding just normal behavior in the acclimation process and will it come out when it is more familiar to it's surroundings?
