Bubble Tip disapeared but im sure he is in there somehwere

I bought a bubble tip a few days ago. He stayed exactly where I put him for about two days, about 1/2 the size he was at the lfs. I put him higher up close to my t5 high output to make sure he would get enough light. I shot a little brine shrimp in there when I fed the fish and it seemed fine. Today he is gone, packed its bags and hauled @$$! lol. Im sure he is in there somewhere. I dont want to start taking my rock apart to find it because I might crush it in the process.

My question is, how long do they normally do that? Are there any really good reads on BTA that you may have handy. I googled all night trying to gather as much as I could on my on.

What kind of lighting was it under at the LFS? It may have moved into the rocks because the lighting was too strong. Flow, too strong, any number of reasons. Give it a few days and it should reappear. If you do find it and can aim a pwerhead at it's foot, that will encourage it to move.

Don't know the lighting. I found him. Ill try the power head.
