bubble tip help

so I posted a pic of my bubble tip on here a few days ago after I purchased it. It was doing fine and than I woke up this morning and hes in the corner of my tank, attatched to the back of a rock facing the back left corner and is closed up. What do I do??

If its moving something is off, what are your params? How long has your tank been set up? If I remember right yours was the slightly bleached bta. Did you start acclimating it to your lights since that thread?

perims are perfect, I've been acclimating it to the light, I put several pieces of screening over the area he was in to slow some of the light from getting in and even only went to 2 bulbs for most of the day instead of running all four

Absolutely nothing. Knee jerk reactions to normal BTA activity probably kills more nems than real issues. Unless it is showing signs of 'melting' or dying, then let it be, just make sure your pump intakes are properly covered.

^^^^^^^right on bta's are really resilient it may take a couple days till it settles in! I have had 2 of mine get sucked in to power heads and come right back looking great in a couple days!

I agree with the above. I now have two BTA's and my first one acts different than the second one. At first I paniced everytime I saw the first one "look" different than it was suppose to and now it has a daily routine for itself and is fine.

Also, if your BTA ever does get stuck in an intake, advice would be to shut off the power to that intake and allow the BTA to remove itself. I've read horror stories of people shutting off power and pulling the nem out of the intake only to do more damage. I would imagine you take that route only if the nem is in danger or can not untangle itself over a period of time and only then proceed with caution.

Good luck! =)

thanks guys. The help is appreciated.
I let the nem do his own thing. Hes moved to the side of the tank between a rock and glass. I fed him today a piece of a frozen shrimp and he seemed like he began to get more tentacles. I'm assuming this is a good sign since in my thread for help some said he was either really hungry or sick. I'm hoping I can be successful in bringing this guy back to life since its my first nem and I don't want to lose him :(

Any help with how to get him healthy again, I could use tips.
Thanks

Cant say how many times they split. I have one that has split at least 5 times in a year and a half. Heard of more and heard of some that never seem to split. Shaun

Help me asap.
I think my nem is giving up :( I just found him in the back of the tank flipped over. Do I flip him back over or will he get flipped on his own? I don't want to lose this guy :(
