Hi

Had my tank running for a year now and its been doing well

Just brought a bubble tip anemone on saturday, it came on a big rock which i acclimatised and he just sat in the rock and seemed quite happy!

Next morning lights went out and he went on the move, he has now settlerd at the back of my tank he can not be seen at all and has stuck to a rock so i cant move him!

Im going to have to completly re-scape to turn this rock round!

Any ideas before i have to do this!!!

Thanks

Chris

just leave him be, he will come out and seek the light when he feels accilmated to it. this is very common so don;t let it bother you.

Not trying to steal your thread, but my GBTA has been back behind my rock work for about three days now. I've had it for about three weeks and it has been out in the open for most of the time. I'm hoping nothing is wrong with it. I could understand if it did this off the bat.

kraziekris, in the future if you didn't want to reaquascape, which would be best for the health of the anemone, if you HAD to see him :) - you could get a powerhead and turn it towards him until he let go. Not like blowing him to the other side of the tank but just enough to cause him to get mad and let go of what he was holding on to and move. Best of Luck. I have always dug out a little hole in the sand for my anemones and put just a little bit of sand on them to cause them to settle in. They will be consumed with ridding themselves of the sand and set up camp where I put them. Has worked for me so far :)
