whats best way to to move. mine was moving around & got in power head. caught in time to save and is recovering well. but now has attached to top side of overflow, and hasnt moved since.
have left powerhead off hoping he would move, but no luck. back side of tank does not receive as much light, want to move it down on rocks. without harming its base . any suggestions

I would try pointing a powerhead directly toward it. Make sure the powerhead intake is covered, of course. Although BTAs like random flow, they don't particularly like a direct, laminar current as it would get with the powerhead pointed right on it. Maybe that will make it decide to let go and you can place it were you want. An overhang in the liverock where the foot is on the underside and the anemones tentacles come out and up into the light seems to be their favorite spot.

It's noteworthy that a local reefer's RBTA parked itself DIRECTLY in the output of her modded MJ1200 and to the best of my knowledge has been there ever since. It's probably been nearly 8 months now.

So...yours might love the direct flow...lol
