Bubble tip question

I have a rose bubble tip I was feeding it 1 to 2 times a week had him for about 2 months well last night he started to split and frag himself I forget the proper term well I got home today and to my surprise I now have 3 rose tip in my tank. Has anyone heard of an anemone splitting 2 times in 1 day? Normally I hear them splitting once but not 3 times. I gave each a little piece of food today and they each ate.

Should I worry at all? Just because he split so many times at once?

I see huge RTB that never split just surprised mine did twice

I dont think so, Ive heard of them splitting a lot more then three times. I might start looking in to what caused the split though, that would probably be informative.

What would cause it? I used to feed him good I wanted to get him big so I could split him but he did it on his own. And all 3 are near the same spot the other one used to always stay at. All my water levels are good. Phos is like . 55 I think. I'm running phos sponge and it's always been at that level since I bought and moved the tank. All other levels are great. Nitrite is like 5-7. Dkh is 12-13 mag was around 1330 last time I tested and cal was 420. And sp is 1.025 with a frac meter

Are you sure that it was twice in one day, and not that you just didn't see it from a different day? Them Splitting is not a bad thing sometimes its due to stress but it does not seem like they are stressed.

It could be. I know he split once then I think it was the next day they split again but it could have been 2 days later when the 2 nod split happened.

Just wanted to post and make sure I was not like over feeding or doing something and that the multiple split was not harmful to them.

Sometimes feeding was 3 times a week.

Food is large krill and clams on half shell I pulled the meat out of the shell.
Just started small pieces of silver fish.

My wife (Asian) said he heard me say when he's bigger I will cut him in half to propagate him and he got scared and spilt into smaller so I don't cut him
