Bubble tip question

I got my first rose bubble tip. I placed it under a rock ledge. It attached it self and seemed ok but not much in the light. Today it was fully closed when I got home and now started to open. Only had it 2 days. Just wondering if it is normal behavior. Thanks.

Typically, as long as they arent gaping you're in pretty good shape. It will get into the light it needs when it needs it. Dont mess with your lighting or flow, just let it get itself situated. It knows what it needs far better than you.

The above picture is what it generally looks like during the day. And here is a pic of what it looks like during early morning and night.

Any info would be good.

I had a green bubble tip that would open up and looked very happy, then suddenly dissapeared. It was in the same spot for over a month. I figured, he'll find another spot and be fine. Well over a month later I still hadn't seen him and I had to move my tank to my new home. While doing so, I found a much smaller anemone, visibly bleached, hiding inside the rocks. I thought maybe it moved there because it had too much light with the light I had on there. I switched out the light with the PC that used to be on the tank (which was built for this tank, and my corals seem to like it more than the T5 I had put on the tank as they are all softies). So far I haven't seen the anemone come back out, but I'm hoping it will. I'm just not sure if it will recover even if it does. It was not gaping and was holding onto the rock just fine. Yours looks good, but I'm kinda surprised it hasn't moved out into the light more honestly, but hopefully it will move shortly.
