Bubble tip tentacle problem

Hello fellow reefers! I have recently purchased a green bubble tip anemone that was doing very well up until about 3 weeks ago. He was eating great,(small piece of table shrimp every other day) had good color, nice and brown with green tips. Now all of the sudden his tentacles have been shrinking and showing pieces of mesenterial filament coming out of the ends of them? ( I am assuming that's what they are based on the research I have done). When I placed him in the tank he barely moved at all, now he has moved to the under side of rock and is hanging upside down. I have tried feeding but won't take food? He still expands, mouth is not gaping and has good color. My tank is right at a year old. I have him under a diy led that uses 24 3watt Phillips luxeon chips at a ratio of 2 to 1, royal blue to white. Tank size is 33 gallon, 24" long x 16" wide x 20" deep. My water parameters are

Ammonia : 0 api
Nitrate : 0 api
Calcium : 440 api
Magnesium : 1400
Alkalinity : 10dkh
Phosphate : 0.05 Hanna ultra low ppb checker

Any help would be great, not sure what to do? Could it be predatory? Bacteria infection? Hate to lose this guy. Thanks in advance!

I read on another website that if they have strings it's either hungry or that the lighting in inadequate, but I have not had a nem for quite sometime so, maybe someone with a little more nem history can chime in...

BTAs like moderate flow and occasional feeding. Overfeeding can kill them faster than anything. Food takes energy to digest and if they can't break down what they've ingested it will rot and kill them.

Feeding once a week is sufficient.

I'd suggest you leave it alone. If it's been fed once in the last few weeks it should recover.

Not sure on the lighting but I do have the light dimmed way down as it was bleaching a frogspawn. The flow should be sufficient as I have two 530pgh power heads on opposite sides of the tank. I was curious about the feeding and have since backed off. It does have 2 ocellaris clownfish that host it and they may be feeding it also. Although it looks like they steal more food than give it. It has not gotten worse but does not look much better. I have heard so many contradicting opinions on anemones it's hard to decide what to do? I have read many that say, when the tentacles are shrinking its starving and should feed it everyday? The only thing is I can't find much on mesenterial filaments coming from the tentacles?
