Gotta question - Bought a really nice bubbl tip from my LFS yesterday...unfortunately, it doesnt look so hot this morning. The anemone has inverted out its stomach and shoot out some cloudy material......Any thoughts on what it might be?? And what I might do?

Well, it sounds like the anemone was either pooping or is not doing very well. From the sound of it the anemone may not be in good health. Any chance you could post a pic?

USB Cable broke.....No can do on the photo.....parameters are good with the only concerns being PO4 at .025 and Ca 500.....

Phosphate and calcium wouldn't effect the anemone that much.
Those parameters are more important for corals and such because they secrete calcium carbonate skeletons.

With anemones the trick about keeping them is to first get a specimen that is in good shape to begin with because they don't ship well. Anemones need tremendous lighting too, The best luck I have had is using metal halides but I have had success with VHO with some species. The next hardest part is placement, attachment issues because many anemones have very specific requirements in the substrate they live on. I hate to rant like this but I am trying to be helpful.

Could you give us more details about your system? It is really hard to tell you anything insightful without knowing anything about your tank.

BTAs do not require MH lightning though. I've seen them flourish under PC and VHO. How did you go about acclimating the anemone? If you didn't drip acclimate it for an hour or more, that could be the problem. They do not always adjust well to a drastic change in waters.

But yes more tank specs would be great in determining whats wrong.
