Why bubble tips or why not?

Any good evidenced based theories out there that anybody has heard of?

my bta almost never had bubble tips under my t5 lighting, when I switched to mh they bubbled up a lot more often

i concur w/ brich1027, my rbta never bubbled under PCs or T5s but once i put the 250w mh on top..it never stops bubbling.

Mine bubbles for a few months each year when I replace my MH bulbs, but it eventually loses the bubbles as the bulb intensity fades.

Interesting... I have T5 light, and my anemones almost always have bubbles.

I have owned my Green Bubble Tip for about a year and the only time there are no bubbles present is when its hungry. It is housed under VHO lighting and my Maroon Clown feeds it just about every day. Its really super cool to watch. Try feeding it and see what happens.

sounds like its hit or miss and the lighting doesn't affect every single bta.
