Bubbles, bubbles and more bubbles

I hope you know that is not a good idea - putting a ball valve in to cut down on flow from a pump. I could be wrong but from what I understand it will cut down on the life of your pump.

Everything I have read has suggested that it is ok to restrict the out flow but not the intake. I will be visiting my LFS today to inquire about replacing the pump with a different brand. I really do hate the bubbles....lol If it cost me a pump to get rid of them, good redence to the pump.

If you plan on going with a new pump.. check out the blueline velocity's..
Don't be afraid to go one size bigger than what you currently need.. make sure to plan for the future..
You could always split the plumbing off and run lines to a chiller, refugium, and whatnot, with the single pump, instead of buying a bunch of different pumps..

Thanks PEZ. I didn't think about that. My temp is great for now. I am running two 250 watt MH lights and four 65 watt pc blue actinics and my temp is steady at 77 :). I am running 1 fan I got out of a server cabnet that is awsome. I have three more and may keep one for a back up and give the other two away to people here that may need them. I thought my thermometer was broke and bought a back up to check it. They are about .2 degrees off, so I guess I'm ok.
