Bubbles on sand

I have a ton of bubbles on my sand, anyone know what causes it, is it bad? I mess around the sand bed and release a bunch of bubbles, but more come the next day.

Gas formed by bacteria I would think

water changes to rid bacteria?? More flow?

Don't take my word for it, but it should be a good thing. It happened in my 10 about 2 months after it was set up, eventually it stopped though.

i asked the same question a few months ago.i was told that bad things might happen with cyano.i had major problem with cyano.just getting it under control now.hope it dont happen to you . goodluck

Should be OK. sounds like gasses form bacteria. but may be the start of cyano though. keep an eye on your nutrients
