I have a bubble tip with two clows in it (melanopus) for about 3 years.
Last week my clowns died for a bacterial infection, and the anemone has change his shape and begin to move in the last two days.
first, he reduced in size and the bubble tips are bigger, when it was with the clowns, the bubble tips were much straight.
the size of the anemone was two times the size that has it now..
Suggestions?
Anybody knows what could be happen?

today I have seen that it is below a rock and has two differents bodys between the rocks, it is the same body , but split in two halfs.. If you look it seems that there are two anemones, but it is the same with a strange shape..
thanks anybody

sounds like your anemone split! btas do this to reproduce.

they dont have mouths anymore. but they will regrow them in a week or so. try feeding them then. leave then alone for now so they can recover :)

oh. I had to remove my clowns from my bta once. its tips all bubbled up to. it went away after i put the clowns back
