Troy continues his Heisman campaign throwing for a TD and a spectacular 21 yard TD run.
And how about the U of M only putting up 17 against a not very good Nwstern team?… man I can’t wait till Nov. 18th! :mad2:
Okay, who do you want to see the Bucks play in the National Championship Game? USC? Texas? Florida or maybe West Virginia?

Me personally, I would love to see OSU vs West Virginia. I was born in WV and haved lived here for 20 plus years now so its the best of both worlds for me. I think it would be a ratings nightmare though. Not much interest it WV and even the bucks on a national scale. Heck sportscenter only showed real quick highlights of the osu game this weekend. they were showing clip after clip of everyone else it seemed.

The same UM that held NW to negative rushing yards. I think everyone there ran the ball at least once. I even think Carr suited up and took the ball for a run. Carr stated in a press conf. that the game was a great chance to get all the players on the team in the game (which he pretty much did) and that he did not want his top players to go all out due to possible injuries. We have a tough team next week... Ball St. Still can't wait till Nov. 18 baby, GO BLUE!!!

MU vs Penn State W 17-10
MU vs Minnesota W 28-14
MU vs Mich St W 31-13
MU vs Iowa W 20-6
MU vs N'western W 17-3

OSU vs Penn State W 28-6
OSU vs Minnesota W 44-0
OSU vs Mich St W 38-7
OSU vs Iowa W 38-17
OSU vs N'western... We'll see. No Way only 17-3 tho!! :D

Could end up OSU vs. Florida in the National Championship Game.
Florida is sitting @ #4 now and still had a couple of decent games left plus the SEC conf. championship. Based on strenght of schedule Florida could end up ranked #2 if they win that SEC conf. game...

If there is still another major undefeated team left (IE not a BYU or anything), then I think it would be bad if we were playing a 1-loss team in the national championship. Undefeated national championship games are much better...

Wll I can tell you that if WV goes undefeated they will NOT be playing in the National Championship game. Why? Because they have not beat anybody.
This is why we need a playoff system...

I agree withs some type of playoff system. Its hard to tell WV that even though they haven't beat anyone, they don't have a shot at the title.

But if WV did go into the national title game against OSU (or I guess michigan, it makes me sick to say that :-P), it wouldn't really make for a national championship type game. WV has great skill players, but its the guys you don't hear about that will make that game a blowout. Our O-line outwieghs their D-line by hundreds of pounds. They just aren't big enough and athletic enough all around to play with the top couple programs in the country.

I'd say the winner of the SEC vs the OSU/Mich is the best game. Plus it will shut those SEC people up about not getting into the nation championship for the past couple years.

yeah that is the big sticking point with WV. The big east is a horrible confrence now that everyone good left. Thursday is the Louisville vs WV game so there will be one less undefeated team.

C'mon guys we all know the real National Championship Game will be on November 18th ;)

Your right and wouldnt the loser become the best one loss team?
If it comes to a one loss team being in the championship it should be a rematch. If OSU wins it looks better for Michigan who lost to the number one team than say Florida who lost to a lower ranked team than Michigan would. Same for OSU if they lose it is to the second ranked team and therefore no other team has a one loss by a better team except Texas who lost to the number one team. I dont understand how Florida would come into the equation except that the sec is a tough conference maybe they are saying strength of scheduale.

I agree. Too bad they would never give that rematch in The Game.

According to the SEC fans their conference title should be SOS.
They do "probably" have more good conf teams but do not have any of the best teams, if that makes sense...

If they send a one loss team it would probably be the SEC champ team. What if it were Arkansas, now wouldnt that be funny? Their only loss was non con game!
I would love to see us play Florida for a title. Just to settle this B10 vs SEC crap and shut those South East bums up.

I personally dont see how WV could be denied the shot if they win out. They are ranked 3rd. After the OSU/MU game they will be ranked 2nd (Assuming they keep winning). If they are going to be ranked 2nd then they deserve the shot to go. Or just dont rank them 3rd in the BCS now.

Texas might be the best game for either OSU or MU.

ND would be the best Drama. Their only loss to Michigan... If we beat Michigan... 2005 rematch... Brady Quinn vs Troy Smith in a Heisman show down. :eek1: Nice.

That USC loss has been a long time coming, They have a good young team but have been way over ranked for weeks. (It's USC. )
I Look to see them get 1 or 2 more losses before its all over with.

If not, it could end up being a good ol days Rose Bowl rematch, USC vs UM! :D  :smokin:

I'd like the OSU v. Florida match up to like you say settle all this BigTen vs. SEC stuff. SEC may be the deepest conf. but the BigTen is more Top Heavy!
WVU will not get a shot because they will not make it to #2 because the BCS would then be pressued to put them in The Game, instead another team will leap frog them into that #2 spot!
I don't really want to play Texas again.
Another OSU/ND match up? For what?
Kinda wierd that the Rose Bowl is considered a second tier bowl w/the big dance bing in Tempe and all.

They mentioned this on the radio a few times already. One of the big arguements against that comes down to money. Whichever national broadcast station who bought the rights the the NC game doesn't want to show a game that was just played a month ago. Specially if its not a close game. Because of that, your more likely to see texas play OSU again than Mich because it was earlier and you can make the case that they are a "different team" now. Its a really valid point though, I agree with you, because they probably are the best 2 teams in college football.

Nothing more than the Drama, Like I said, 2005 Rematch (for them) the whole... They have only been beat by #2 Mich, now our turn... Quinn vs Smith for the Heisman.
The Drama is there, if you look hard enough I guess. Not that it would be a good game or anything...

That deal with the Rose Bowl actually kind of Blows, But I do like our history in Tempe. :)

If I had to guess right now, It'll be Texass or the SEC champ and we have already played Texas. So...

A Texas tie breaker would be cool tho.

Yep! I agree SEC champ prollly Florida!
But we shall see... still got "that state up north" to kick around first :D
