Bug - Worm? Snail? Sarlacc Pit?

Since the community was so helpful in helping to ID my evil nudi, I was hoping someone might have experience with this as well:

What we're looking at here is a small mound or bump in my sand (black Hawaiian) with lots of yellow/green 'tentacles' outstretching from it. They stretch across the sand, gather up some flotsam and jetsam, and reel it back in.

I've seen snails/worms that use a single tentacle in this way, but never a big group like this. It (or they) have been in the same spot for months, and hitchhiked in with my LR during my initial cycle. It never bothered or concerned me, except that now another patch is forming nearby. I've been hesitant to dig it up though.

Any thoughts? Or should I just dig it out to see?

Thanks!

Spaghetti worm,

they are Harmless, I have about 50 of them in my 10 gallon. They just annoy my mushrooms a little bit.
