It has been 20 some years since I had a reef and took over a 3G Pico reef at work recently. Things have been going well, a couple mistakes made, and I have added some rock and an Acan a month ago.
When looking at the tank closer yesterday from the side I noticed that one side of the Leptastrea has receded. The rest of the Leptastrea looks great and it fully extended during the day.
Water params look good and nothing else is showing any sign of duress (that I can see).
Since the Leptastrea looks good otherwise I was thinking maybe I brought in some white euphyllia bugs with the Acan?
I took a couple of close up pictures with the camera phone this morning while the polyps were closed. Does it look like bugs or am I on the wrong path?
