Build my Stand of WOOD or STEEL?

Lots of folks here have built really well laid out wood stands and I am sure if they will have no problems. Mine will be steel. 2" square tube and powder coated. But, that's because my brother in law runs a metal fabrication shop so, relatively speeking, this will be one the least expensive components in my system. And, with that connection why skimp?

Ya I have a friend thats a welder also. Thats why I even asked because I could build it out of wood but I will be moving in two years so I thought I could use the Steel stand over and over again

I have an 11 guage 2x2 inch tubular steel stand. Weighs about 100lbs, I have adjustable height legs so that I can raise or lower the tank as I move around. I love it.

Any pictures of the adjustable legs? Sounds like a great idea!

I like the looks of a good quality hardwood.
Doesn't rust.
