i am building this tank with that dimension 39L *21W * 24.4 H ... inch

the water level is at 22.5 inch high

with tempered 10 mm glass (0.393701 inch)
does this tank need euro bracing

thanx all

I know the Elos tanks get away without the euro bracing by doubling the bottom pane with individual panels. Might be something to look into copying?

does this increase the pressure on the corners of the tank ?

i used tempered glass to decrease bowing as possible

I couldn't tell you about the pressures on the corners. I just know my 160 measures about 60x23x22 and is rimless with 15mm low iron glass and weighs a TON. Their website says they use a proprietary black silicone so I don't know if that helps at all. There is another guy on the Elos subforum who has a custom 200 rimless as well, so I know they have gone bigger. I think the only way you're going to get an accurate answer is to either just do it or find an engineer and calculate the stresses involved.

This look similar in dimension as my Elos 100 which use 12mm front/side and much thicker bottom.. and the Elos 100 is 22.5", 2 inch shorter than your tank.

Rimless might work, but you're really pushing it.
